• Private practice in Portugal since 2019

About Family Medicine

I love family medicine because it is the only specialty that takes a comprehensive and holistic approach to a person’s health, regardless of age, gender, social status, or the location of discomfort in the body or mind. A person should be whole, and that’s what I strive to help you achieve.

My name is Margarita Kokoreva, and I am a family medicine resident in Portugal.

Education and Experience:

• Graduated from the Pediatrics Faculty in 2014
• Volunteered in hospitals in the USA (2014–2016), assisting in cardiology and neonatology departments
• Moved to Portugal in 2017, obtained a general practitioner license, and worked in the surgical emergency department
• Started a residency in General and Family Medicine in January 2023
• Practicing independently as a doctor in Portugal since 2021
